Set of 2. Part of the All Hallows Eve series, exclusively from Department 56. Dressing up on All Hallows Eve is strongly associatd with the Celtic people of the British Isles, particularly the Irish. For them, it was the date of their pre-Christian New Year, and a time when the dead could roam the earth, along with demons and monsters. It was believed that if you dressed up like the creatures of the night, they would leave you alone, and insted bother someone else! Figures ares made of hand-painted porcelain. The set comes beautifully boxed, to make gift-wrapping easy and storage worry-free. A 2006 introduction.
